Facilities offered include a well-equipped gymnasium, tennis and squash courts, extensive spa facilities and treatments and various supervised daily activities including cycling and Balinese dancing lessons.

The gardens are one of the most striking features of the hotel. The entrance is dramatic, with acres of rice terraces built into the landscape of the Greg Norman-designed golf course. These rice terraces are not for show as local farmers farm the 30 hectares of fields and the proceeds are shared among the villagers.

There are four pools, including a wading pool for the kids in the children's Penguin Club. The pools have an integrated design of water slides, waterfalls and jacuzzis. The main lagoon pool has a 54-metre slide and is the venue for water aerobics, water polo and volleyball.
