Kintamani Cycling with Ayung River Adventure

After an early morning start drive to the heart of Bali and the Lake view Restaurant in the region of Kintamani. Over a light breakfast with tea and coffee enjoy the breathtaking views of Lake Batur and the still active Volcano Gunung Batur. This is a sight not to be missed and the morning vistas of the Volcano and stunning Volcano Lake will be an awe-inspiring start to a fantastic day.

The Start Point is located a further 15 minutes away, and it is there you will be outfitted with helmets, cycling gloves, mountain bike and given a full safety and instructional brief by our expert guides. After a short warm-up the fun begins, with the mostly down-hill course taking you through local villages, farms and rice paddy terraces. The off-road adventure includes a visit to a local Balinese housing compound and family temple. This is an excellent behind the scenes look at Balinese life - well off the beaten path!

Finally arrive in the cultural center of Ubud and the Bridge Cafe. The Bridge Cafe is located on the banks of the Ayung River and it is here you will enjoy a rich feast served in the Balinese Rijstafel style. After a leisurely lunch return to your hotel.
